About Harp Shadows

Elaine Bryant brings extensive experience as both a Harp performer and Harp teacher in Maryland and the surrounding areas. She has played for local orchestras, such as the Frederick Symphony and the Gettysburg Symphony, and for a variety of occasions, such as weddings, parties, recitals, and funerals. Committed to excellence, she provides a great attention to the details of each performance. Audiences have been delighted with her harp music.

Ms. Bryant has taught in both classroom and one-on-one settings. In the Baltimore County Public School system, she taught Vocal-General music lessons and Reading. In addition, she taught Music Appreciation and Reading courses at Carroll Community College in Westminster, Maryland. She has given private Maryland harp music lessons in her studio for over 20 years, teaching students from elementary school age through adult.

Ms. Bryant studied harp for eight years with some of the finest teachers in the United States, including the late Marilyn Costello, former first harpist with the Philadelphia Orchestra.
